Vranken Pommery – The wine market in Japan

Vranken-Pommery Monopole is the second largest Champagne group. With wineries in Champagne, Provence, Camargue and Douro, it is one of Europe’s leading winegrowers. At the 7th CLIC Event Mr. Ken Moroi, CEO of Vranken Pommery Japan Co., Ltd., will reveal the secrets behind their success in Japan and share his views on the future of the wine market. There will be opportunity to taste!

Cost:                Members 5,000 yen, others 7,000 yen, incl. buffet & drinks (wine, beer, soft drinks)

Please register through the below form no later than Thursday, 11 April. You are requested to pay by bank transfer, no cash payment is allowed at the Embassy.  Note that cancellations after 11 April and no-shows will be fully charged.

About Ken Moroi

A French and Japanese, Ken Moroi was born in Paris and received a Master Degree in Japanese Language and International Trade at Paris IX university. Ken moved to Japan in 2004 to open the branch of Vranken-Pommery Monopole. He is now in charge of the Asia-Pacific Region since 2016, based in Japan where he offices as CEO of Vranken-Pommery Japan KK.

During 175 years it has become known as one of the most innovative and creative companies making premium chocolate under the key brand Lindt, but also under Ghirardelli, Hofbauer, Küfferle, Caffarel and 2014 Russell Stover.

At the 6th CLIC Event Mr. Andre Zimmermann, Representative Director, Lindt & Sprungli Japan Co., Ltd., will reveal the secrets behind their success in Japan and share his views on the future of the chocolate market.

About Andre Zimmermann
A Swiss national, Mr. Andre Zimmermann has spent most of his career in Japan starting in 1989 as Managing Director for Telekurs Financial. After serving as Senior Representative for LocationSwitzerland SECO 2005-2007 and as Managing Director for MATISA Japan from 2007 until he took up his current position at Representative Director, Lindt & Sprungli Japan Co., Ltd. In 2010.

Andre has also served on the Executive Committee of SCCIJ and Executive Operating Board of the European Business Council (EBC)
