Shipping industry in Japan is still growing and need to go out into global market from local market to whom we can give our services. In LNG shipping sector, LNG is getting into commoditized market where we have close relationship with global energy entities. 多くの日本企業に見られる時間と場所に縛られた仕事スタイルの改善を、どのように理解・実施させるかが課題。

ノルウェーの企業であることが日本で事業を行う上で感じる長所・短所はありますか。
企業が利益を求めるのは当然だが、仕事同等に個人を重視するノルウェーの働き方は、社員の生産性を高るだけではなく、顧客や販売代理店へプラスの印象を与えている。北米企業とは違い、長期視野で関係を重視するノルウェーの事業スタイルは、日本企業と非常に相性が良い。

異文化理解は国際的な会社にとって非常に重要です。日本人・ノルウェー人社員間のコミュニケーションで課題と感じることはありますか。
国内では日本人のみだが、ノルウェーとの日常のテレビ会議や実際の面と向かった打ち合わせで違和感を感じたことはない。たぶん、両者がお互いの文化や風習を十分認めているからなのだろう。ノルウェー(北欧国)には非常に親近感を感じる。

Our target is to fill those extra seats with Japanese customers, as modern, environmental, safe and comfortable aircraft. 2) Our target and hope is to move from Narita to Haneda airport Apr-2020, before the Olympics, making traveling easier for people in Tokyo as well connections at Haneda to whole Japan 3) Use the opportunity with Olympics and House of Scandinavia, to promote the Scandiavien countries

The Japanese outbound market for what we call the long-haul destinations is stagnant compared to the late 90's. We hope this trend will change so that we will see more Japanese tourists going on long-haul trips in the next few years.

The biggest challenge for Visit Norway is that Norway is still relatively unknown, even compared to our Nordic neighbors
