[Event report] NCCJ Annual General Meeting 2026

 
 
 

The NCCJ Annual General Assembly or Meeting, AGM, was successfully held of February 17th with participation from 20 corporate members, as well as 4 proxy votes, ensuring a quorum and a formally valid AGM.
We were honored by the presence of Kristin Iglum, Ambassador of Norway to Japan, who delivered an encouraging speech addressing the wide range of activities and the importance of the Team Norway cooperation. The Ambassador also expressed her appreciation for NCCJ and welcomed future engagement at Aurora Hall.
The meeting was chaired by Jostein Rørtveit, who guided members through a review of NCCJ’s activities in 2025, financial and membership status, and strategic priorities and plans for 2026. He also welcomed engagement from members for events.
During the AGM, it was formally announced that Snorre Larsen as of February 17th is “Outgoing General Manager” of NCCJ, and will be available in a planned transition period. We thank you Snorre for his contribution on NCCJ.
The following were elected as new Directors of the NCCJ Board:

  • Jon Tarjei Kråkenes, Wallenius Wilhelmsen

  • Miho Tanaka, Norwegian Mycelium (NoMy)

And following elected as new Trustee:

  • Anette Yamamoto Hansen, Innovation Norway

Following the formal proceedings, members and guests gathered for networking with standing buffet of food and drinks in The Aurora Hall. The evening was marked by a full house, a strong sense of community, and an excellent atmosphere. NCCJ looks forward to another year of close collaboration and continued engagement with its members.
