[Event report] World Cup Watch Party

On the morning of July 12th NCCJ members, guests, visiting friends and members of the Norwegian-Japanese community gathered in Shibuya and Shinjuku to witness the historic football World Cup quarter final between Norway and England.

Interest in this event was overwhelming and due to the large numbers of participants we had to split the party between venues in Shibuya and Shinjuku to ensure room for everyone. Both venues were packed with spectators and we enjoyed an energetic and friendly atmosphere.

Thank you to all participants, to HUB in Shibuya and Shinjuku for hosting us and , of course, to the valiant efforts of the Norwegian national football team.

We hope to see everyone again for the next tournament!
