[DNV GL] 5th DNV GL Safety & Security Forum @ Aurora Hall

Last week representatives from DNV GL visited us at the Norwegian Embassy for their annual Safety & Security Forum. This was the 5th time the event was held, and several representatives from major Japanese automakers and suppliers were present.

At the forum, JR West Passenger Railway Co., Ltd. presented about safety management measures derived from lessons learned after accidents. This was followed by a lecture on safety measures for spacecraft by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). Finally, the National Traffic Safety and Environment Laboratory presented about in-vehicle security regulations.

After the forum was concluded we moved over to the Ambassador’s Residence, where HE Ambassador of Norway Inga M. W. Nyhamar. welcomed the participants with an opening speech before the buffet was served.

We are pleased that NCCJ could help facilitate yet another successful forum for DNV GL thanks to the support from the Norwegian Embassy, and look forward to welcoming DNV GL back again next year.
