We are pleased to introduce Snorre Larsen, the newly appointed General Manager of NCCJ. With a rich background in sectors such as fisheries, publishing, and cross-cultural business, Snorre brings a wealth of expertise and a fresh vision for the Chamber's future.
He is dedicated to continuing the impactful work of his predecessor, Frederikke Valentina Sadowski Matsunaga, and to further strengthening ties within our business community. Please read on for a special message from Snorre as he shares his goals and aspirations for the NCCJ!
On Friday September 20th, the NCCJ, together with the Norwegian Embassy and the Norwegian Seafood Council attended the event marking the arrival of Norway's seasonal fresh mackerel “Saba Nouveau” at Haneda airport.
“Sava Nouveau” is a premium selection of Norwegian mackerel that meets strict criteria, with a fat content of approximately 30% and a weight of 500g or more. The fishing season is limited to late September through early November, when the mackerel is at its most flavorful and rich in fat. The name “Saba Nouveau” is inspired by the famous French wine “Beaujolais Nouveau”, which is well known in Japan.
