NCCJ and Norwegian School of Economics to sign agreement. Invitation to the signing ceremony, information meeting, and dinner
We are pleased to announce that NCCJ and the Norwegian School of Economics have decided to form an agreement to support NHH’s “Internship Abroad Program”.
Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) is one of the leading business schools in Norway and in Europe. They have a student exchange with Japanese universities and regularly send students to Japan. Also, to further increase the relevance of their education, NHH has created an “Internship Abroad Program”. In this program, students will do an internship at companies outside Norway. The program is an integrated part of the curriculum and the students get student credits if they complete a minimum of 4 weeks internship.
NCCJ will support NHH in implementing this program in Japan. We will facilitate internships for about 8 students every year. We believe having interns from a leading business school should be valuable for our members. By supporting this program we will add value to the NHH education, and graduates with internship experience from Japan should be valuable for the Norwegian industry. This is a paid partnership and NHH will compensate NCCJ for some of the time we spend on executing this program in Japan.
The agreement will be signed at the Norwegian Embassy in Tokyo on November 27th and we invite you to join us to witness this special occasion. In addition to the signing, a short presentation about the internship program will be given.
Present at the signing ceremony from NHH will be Merete Ånes, Senior Consultant from the Section for International Relations, and Kristin Rygg, Associate Professor of Professional Language and Intercultural Communication. From the Embassy, Minister-Counsellor Deputy Chief of Mission, Tom Knappskog and other persons will attend. will attend. After the signing ceremony, we will have an informal dinner at a nearby restaurant in Hiroo. We hope you have the chance to join us.
